To sum it up

As you can see by this infographic Bitcoin is still the king since day one. It had it’s ups and downs but that’s totally normal in a growing market. That’s why you should not be discouraged by it’s recent falls. You can’t expect its price to go up forever, at some point it has to correct itself.

Another thing you probably noticed is that most of the coins that were in the top 10 at some point dissapeared and never returned, some of them still hold some value but a lot of them crashed all the way down as much as 99.9% of its value, like Paycoin for example. This goes to show just how important is research in the crypto market.

There is currently over 2,000 cryptocurrencies listed on CoinMarketCap, guess how many of them have an actuall use? Maybe 10 at most.

Don’t invest in a coin just because they have a fancy name and a fancy website. Most of these project just want to take your money and disappear forever. That’s why you need to do a proper research and I don’t mean just find out what the coin is gonna be used for or something. I mean find out everything you can about the people behind the coin. I could tell that I’m Satoshi Nakamoto and I want you to buy this and that and it will make you rich. But I can tell you for a fact that I’m not him, but’s it’s the internet and it’s very easy to claim to be someone you’re not. So don’t be fooled and invest wisely.

I would like to see some factual information on where you got those numbers. Obviously you’re not basing them on the end of the year numbers since bitshares was number 2 at the end of 2013 with value over 200 million.

Cardano was in top ten just a few months ago (2018 not 2017).
